Flatlined have released their debut album titled "Guilty Of..." This album is one that really rocks hard and has a great sound. These guys have the perfect blend of heavy and rock that can be played on any rock radio station. They have a similar sound to that of Trapt or a band like Fuel, if you are into those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well here. The instrumentation on this album is pretty decent as well, the band can play and give that nice heavy rock feel. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are done pretty well here, Wes has a great voice and it fits perfect with this band behind him. Unfortunately while listening, you can tell the vocals haven't been recorded the best and need to be louder or have the guitars turned down so you can here better. He has a nice clear voice and we really like it. With the lyrics, the band seems to go for an overall message of just rocking out and making the best rock songs. They have subjects about facing yourself, trying to make it without someone, pain and having good intentions. We feel like people can grasp these lyrics as well ad really get into the hard music behind them. They really hit subject people are facing which will help people relate. Great job overall. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Bliss And Hell" your attention as it is the best song on the album and gives you the best feel with what the band is trying to do here. Flatlined have made a debut welcome to album that really hot hard and goes right for what the hard rock fan wants. This really gives the band a good push from the get go. We like this album and can't wait to see what is next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
