1) What's your name and role in the band?

My name is Nick Sauter, and I am the guitarist for Fallen Legion

2) What made you want to be in a Metal band?

I chose to be in a metal band because metal inspires me to be different and challenges my abilities

3 a) Your band is from Oshawa, How is the scene doing up there?

I feel the scene is slightly divided, but thriving nonetheless

3 b) Knowing the scene in Oshawa. how does a band stand out between all the other metal bands?

Love thy neighbour, and be professional. The best bands are ones who network and build each other up

4) Why did you decide to go with the name Fallen Legion?

The name originated as "First Choir," representing the first set of angels to fall to Satan. Fallen Legion was adapted to connect the idea with a growing metal community

5 a) What was the recording process like on the new album?

It was definitely a learning experience. We faced many challenges as amateur producers, but we enjoyed every moment and are extremely proud of our results

5 b) How Does Downfall differ from your previous EPs?

"Downfall" is our greatest accomplishment to this date. We gave our all, and paid attention to detail. However the most credit is owed to Chris Snow, our mixing engineer. We couldn't have done it without him

6) What is the relationship with your band and Lindsay from Cradle, how did the collaboration come to be?

We met Lindsay through the local metal scene. We are all fans of her work and jumped at the opportunity to work with her

7) You guys are doing a little CD Release tour, What are you hoping for with this tour?
This is our first tour experience! We're not sure what to expect, but our primary goal is to build connections, and most importantly, make new friends and fans

8) What is the biggest show you have played so far?

There are some tough contenders, but our most successful show arguably was when we opened for the heavy hitters in Havok

9) Are there any bands in the Oshawa scene you recommend people give a listen to?

There are many great bands in this town. We recommend people check out, Dead 3 Days, Maitreya, and North Shore.
