Dorian gray have released their second album titled "Rebuild." This is their comeback album after calling it quits a few years ago. We are happy to see them back. These guys have a very straight forward metalcore feel to them, but they do it decently. When we listen to them, we get a similar Gracefield sound to them in vocals. For more know acts, we would say they are similar to an Of Mice And Men or a blessthefall, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job on the album. When looking at the recording quality on this album, the album has been recorded fairly well here. The instrumentation on the album isn't actually too bad. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are pretty decent, especially the clean vocals and they have such a nice sound and can be heard very clearly. While the screams are not bad either, they are nice, deep and sound proper. With the lyrics, they seem to go on with trying to fix mistakes, things going wrong and girls. These a regular topics in this music, but they have a good way of telling the message through the lyrics. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Sleepwalkers" your attention as it is the best song on the album and one that really shows off the sound of the album best. Dorian Gray have made a comeback album that really hits hard and puts them back out there nicely. Hopefully they will play more shows now and good luck with everything. listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. We personally love it.
